The Course
Founded in 1890, and just a few hundred yards from the wonderful Northumberland Coastline, Whitley Bay Golf Course is one of the finest courses in the North East of England. Its undulating terrain shares parkland and heathland characteristics, with fast, true greens, all maintained to an exceptional standard, and providing a high quality test for golfers of all abilities.
The History
Follow in the footsteps of golfing legends: play on a course designed by 1912 Open Champion Ted Ray and graced by some of the greatest golfers in history, including Harry Vardon, James Braid, Seve Ballesteros, Nick Faldo, Lee Trevino and Greg Norman..
